Why Choose Solar…?

There are many houses and commercial buildings in rural and urban areas of India which receive abundant sunlight. In areas where the sun’s rays come in excess, it is also very beneficial to generate electricity from solar energy by installing solar panels. Money is saved in generating electricity from solar panels, as well as there is minimal damage to pollution. Conscious of the decreasing amount of energy resources and increasing pollution on the earth, mankind is turning to electricity generated from solar energy. Solar panels are used to generate solar energy, in which solar cells convert the sun’s rays into electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Let us know the important things related to the solar rooftop system that you should know about.

Here we will read about the different types of Solar Rooftop System:
1. On-Grid Solar Rooftop System
In an on-grid solar rooftop system, the DC current is converted into AC current with the help of an inverter and the generated power is sent to the grid. The main advantage of on-grid rooftop system is that if more electricity is generated than required, you can send the excess electricity to the electricity board and you can also use the unit free of cost as and when required. Doing this will save energy as well as money.

2. Off-Grid Solar Rooftop System
Off-Grid Solar Rooftop System consists of solar panel with inverter and battery. With the help of solar energy, these batteries are charged throughout the day and the electricity needs can be met even at night. In areas with short periods of power supply from the main grid, off-grid solar panels are very useful because of the storage facility in the battery.

The large amount of heat energy of the Sun makes it a very attractive source of energy. This energy can be directly converted into direct current electricity and heat energy. Solar energy is the cleanest, abundant and inexhaustible renewable energy source available on Earth. Solar photovoltaic systems using solar panels or panels (SPV panels) are arranged on rooftops or solar farms in such a way that solar radiation falls on the solar photovoltaic panels thereby facilitating a reaction that converts sunlight radiation into solar energy. converts into electricity.
Solar energy can be used to power a single building or it can be used on an industrial scale. When it is used on a smaller scale, excess electricity can be stored in batteries or fed into the electricity grid. Solar energy is limitless and the only limit is our ability to convert it into electricity profitably. Small solar photovoltaic panels power calculators, toys and telephone call boxes.

25+ years.

solar energy is pollution free
During the generation of electricity or other sources of energy, some or the other pollution occurs and this pollution damages the environment. On the other hand, there is no such difficulty in the generation of solar energy.
no dependence on other energy sources
After the advent of solar energy and its increasing use, the pressure on other energy sources has decreased, which is a good sign for both the ecosystem and the environment.
No major maintenance required
Solar power systems do not require much maintenance. Just cleaning is needed twice every year, but it should be kept in mind that cleaning should always be done by experts who know this work very well. Inverters are also a part of the system, which have to be replaced every 5-10 years, meaning very little maintenance and repair work, apart from the initial cost.
Safer than others
Solar energy is far safer than conventional power sources, whether it is in terms of use, maintenance and repair.
Renewable energy
Solar energy is actually a source of renewable energy. It can be used in every corner of the world, meaning it is always available. Unlike other sources of energy, solar energy is an inexhaustible source of energy.
Saving on electricity bill
Since you will be meeting all your energy requirements with the electricity generated by solar energy, you will be relieved of the high cost of electricity bills. The amount you can save on your bill depends on your needs.
Maximum utilization
Solar energy is used for various purposes. Anything can generate electricity or heat (solar thermal) by solar energy. Can provide electricity to areas without electricity, can be used in factories, can supply clean water, can be used for domestic work of homes, can be used for space satellites.
Technology development
Successfully increasing use of solar energy has increased industrial development and is expected to grow rapidly in the future as well.

This process is called exporting electricity from the home to the grid. And when electricity is taken from the grid to the home, it is called importing electricity. In the olden days, electricity in homes was only imported, because there was no such thing as a domestic solar system then.

As much electricity is exported from the domestic solar system to the grid, that much electricity is stored in the customer’s account in the power supply company. When solar power is not being produced – or it is being used less – then this accumulated electricity is returned to the customer at no cost. That is, the grid acts like a huge store of electricity, from where the customer transacts electricity according to his use.
The power supply company maintains a separate account of export and import of electricity of the customer, in which the complete account of the generation and expenditure of electricity of the customer is kept.
Example: Suppose the customer used a total of 300 units of electricity in a month. Out of these, he got 140 units of electricity from his solar system. So his bill will be for the remaining 300 – 140 = 160 units of electricity. Whatever time electricity is used in the house – morning, afternoon, evening or night – the bill will be made of 160 units only.

Benefits: It is clear that with the help of net metering, the consumer is getting two big benefits. (1) One advantage is that he can use the electricity at any time of the day, regardless of whether solar electricity is being produced at that time. (2) Another advantage is that he is getting the full cost of the electricity generated in his house, if the electricity is being exported to the grid.

To get the facility of net metering, an electronic meter named ‘bi-directional meter’ has to be installed in the house, which keeps track of the electricity being imported or exported every second. Monthly or bi-monthly electricity bill is generated on the basis of both import and export meter readings as per the above example.

Save Money On Your Monthly Electricity Bill

Electricity now a days is increasing but this is not the only reason to invest in solar. Solar is environmentally friendly, helping create a cleaner environment and making the world a better place.
